About the Conference

Experience life as a college student at the University of San Diego by living in the dorms, enjoying meals on campus, and making new friends, all while preparing for college. This unique pre-college experience will include a 2-day conference involving essay writing support from expert essay coaches and college application support from My Pathway to College’s team of independent college counselors as well as a community service project.

Registration Includes:

  • Dorm room housing at the University of San Diego

  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  • General session access

  • Individual work in breakout sessions

  • Experienced essay writing instruction from Janine Robinson

  • Copies of Janine Robinson's book, Essay Hell and online resources

  • In-depth college application instruction from My Pathway to College independent college counselors

  • Keynote Speaker to inspire students to tell their stories in their essays

  • Volunteer outing

  • Admissions tour of the University of San Diego

  • Financial aid and scholarship presentation

  • Networking opportunities with other students

Cost:

  • Early Bird Registration:
    $2,200 + fees (until May 1, 2023)
     

  • Regular Registration:
    $2,500 + fees
     

  • Need based scholarships available
